CREEQUE ALLEY: CREEQUE ALLEY, an acoustic duo featuring local musicians Sean Fullerton and Dan Kirouac, pay tribute to traditional American Folk music, the Folk Revival of the early 1960's, as well as the Flower Power Folk Rock hits from the mid to late 1960's. Using a variety of guitars, harmonicas, and tight two-part vocal harmonies, CREEQUE ALLEY performs the songs with instrumental and vocal accuracy, along with educational information and a bit of humor throughout the performance. Sean and Dan highly encourage audience participation.
RIC 12 - A Tribute to the Sound of Jangle Rock: "RIC 12 - A Tribute to the Sound of Jangle Rock" is a tribute to the Rickenbacker brand electric 12-String guitar, which quickly became the iconic guitar sound for the 1960's Folk Rock movement. The "RIC 12" was first introduced by The Beatles in the "A Hard Day's Night" album in 1964, and popularized by The Byrds in 1965. Since then, the "RIC 12" has been the central sound of countless hits to this day, including the "Friends" TV theme by The Rembrandts. My music program will be a one hour trip down memory lane with some of these classic sing-a-long songs from The Beatles, Byrds, Beach Boys, Who, Monkees, Mamas & The Papas, XTC, and more...with me singing and playing the RIC 12 guitar, while supported by backing tracks that I made myself. A full band sound at a comfortable volume for everyone to enjoy. I'll also present educational talking points about the sound and visual beauty of the "RIC 12" throughout the program, along with some humor, to help expand on the entertainment experience for the intergenerational listener. Audience participation is always welcome and encouraged.
BEATLE WOOD: "Beatle Wood" is an all Acoustic tribute to the way The Beatles started. Featuring Sean Fullerton, brother Adam Fullerton, and long-time friend Tom Gilmartin, we'll showcase the 3 part vocal harmonies and 2 guitar attack that made The Beatles' music magical, only in a stripped down form. Where are the drums, you ask? As John Lennon famously quipped in those early days, "The Rhythm is in the guitars." You'll hear some hits, some B-sides, some of their solo career tunes, Traveling Wilburys, and lots of their Acoustic gems that never get performed live. Please join us. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
What can one expect when hiring Sean Fullerton? A competent and professional musician/singer, professional grade equipment, punctuality, and flexibility. Sean's live shows are fun, exciting, educational, and audience participation is always encouraged! :)
